Voting, Fees & Bribes
Voting is where veLUTE becomes income. Each epoch you point your voting power at pools; in return you collect the fees and bribes those pools generate.

How voting works
Open the Vote view. It shows every gauge-enabled pool, its current vote weight, the emissions it's projected to receive, and whether it has bribes.
Allocate your veLUTE across one or more pools (by percentage). You can split however you like.
Cast your vote. Your allocation is recorded for the epoch.
Emissions for the coming epoch are split across pools in proportion to the votes each receives. A pool with no votes gets no emissions.
Vote early in the epoch and relock/extend to keep your power up. Votes and power are snapshotted at the epoch boundary.
What you earn
When you vote for a pool, you become entitled to that pool's rewards for the epoch, proportional to your share of the votes:
Trading fees. 100% of the swap fees generated by that pool flow to its voters. (Nothing is skimmed by "the house.")
Bribes (voting incentives). Anything a protocol deposited to attract votes to that pool.
This is the core inversion of a MetaDEX: LPs earn emissions, voters earn the fees. If you want the actual cash flow of the exchange, you lock and vote.
Bribes / voting incentives
A bribe is a reward a third party (usually a protocol) deposits on a pool to attract votes. The logic:
A protocol wants deep liquidity for its token → it bribes voters → voters point emissions at the pool → LPs arrive → the token gets a liquid market. The bribe is often far cheaper than renting that liquidity directly.
Voters who backed a bribed pool split the bribe pro-rata with their votes, on top of the pool's trading fees. Bribed pools are flagged on the ballot so you can vote where the rewards are richest.
Claiming
Fees and bribes accrue to your veLUTE as pools trade over the epoch. You claim them from the Portfolio view, where a single claim-all sweeps your emissions, fees, and bribes together.
