Add Liquidity
Two ways to provide liquidity: Classic (full-range, hands-off) and Concentrated (a custom price range, higher efficiency). Start with Classic if you're new.
Before you start: connect your wallet, and hold both tokens of the pair plus a little ETH for gas.
A. Classic (v2) liquidity
Open the Pools view and click the pair you want to enter.
On the pool detail, choose the Add tab.
Enter an amount for one token; the other fills to match the pool's ratio.
Approve each token (first time), then Add liquidity. You receive an LP token.
On the Stake tab, stake your LP token into the pool's gauge to start earning LUTE emissions (if the pool has a gauge and won votes).
To exit: Remove tab → choose a percentage → withdraw back into the two tokens.
B. Concentrated (CL) liquidity
Open the Concentrated view and Pick a pool. Confirm the current price.
Choose a range:
a preset (Aggressive / Narrow / Wide / Full), or
drag the Low / High handles on the depth chart, or
type/step exact prices in the Low & High fields.
Enter amounts (use Half / Max to pull from your balance). Review the Total deposit.
Approve each token (first time), then Open position. You receive an Algebra position NFT.
Your position now appears under Your positions with its live in-range / out-of-range status.
Managing it: each position offers Increase (add liquidity), Collect (claim fees), and Close (withdraw + collect). To re-range, close and reopen at a new band.
Remember the rule: a concentrated position only earns while the price is inside your range. Start wide, and prioritize staying in range over maximum tightness. See Concentrated Liquidity and Impermanent Loss.
Earning on your liquidity
Classic → stake your LP token in the gauge; emissions accrue on-chain and you claim from the gauge.
Concentrated → just stay in range; emissions are computed off-chain and you claim them with a signed claim from the CL emissions panel. See CL Emissions.
