Lock, Vote & Claim

This is the loop that pays the protocol's cash flow: lock LUTE → vote each epoch → claim the fees and bribes. Do it once and you'll understand the whole flywheel.

Before you start: connect your wallet, hold some LUTE, and a little ETH for gas.

1. Lock LUTE → veLUTE

The Lock view
Choose an amount and duration; preview your veLUTE
  1. Open the Lock view.

  2. Enter the amount of LUTE to lock and pick a duration with the slider (up to 26 weeks). The You receive preview shows your veLUTE; longer locks give more.

  3. Approve LUTE (first time), then Lock. You now hold a veLUTE position (a veNFT).

Manage it any time from the same view: Increase, Extend, Merge, toggle Permanent, or Withdraw after expiry. Each lock also renders as instrument art.

Voting power decays toward the unlock date. Extend or relock regularly to keep it (and your share of fees) high.

2. Vote

The Vote view
Allocate your veLUTE across pools and cast your vote
  1. Open the Vote view. It lists gauge-enabled pools with their current votes, projected emissions, and any bribes.

  2. Allocate your voting power across one or more pools (by %). Aim where the fees + bribes are richest; bribed pools are flagged.

  3. Cast votes. Your allocation is recorded for the epoch, and you become entitled to those pools' fees and bribes.

Vote early in the epoch. Votes and power snapshot at the weekly boundary.

3. Claim

The Portfolio view
Portfolio: positions, locks, and everything the pools owe you

Open the Portfolio view to see your LP positions, veLUTE locks, and all claimable rewards in one place. Use Claim all to sweep your emissions, trading fees, and bribes in a single flow.

  • Classic LP rewards → claimed from the gauge.

  • Trading fees + bribes → claimed to your veLUTE.

  • CL emissions → claimed with a signed claim from the CL emissions panel (also swept by Claim all).

That's the full loop: your locked LUTE directed emissions, those pools traded, and the fees came back to you.
