# Welcome to Alandale

The outlaw liquidity market: a ve(3,3) MetaDEX for Robinhood Chain.

**Alandale is a MetaDEX: one venue where every trading fee, every emission, and every vote flows through the same flywheel.** Swap, provide liquidity (classic or concentrated), lock **LUTE** for **veLUTE**, and vote to steer emissions toward the pools you back. The people who lock and vote earn the fees.

> *Steal from the swaps, give to the lockers.*

Alandale is a **fork of** [**Fenix Finance**](https://www.fenixfinance.io/) (itself descended from Solidly / Chronos / Thena) adapted to **Robinhood Chain**. The name is a nod to **Alan-a-Dale**, the minstrel of Robin Hood's band; the mark is his lute.

## What you can do

* **Swap:** trade any listed token, routed through either the classic AMM or the Algebra concentrated-liquidity pools.
* **Provide liquidity:** deposit into **Classic (v2)** pools or **Concentrated** ranges and earn LUTE emissions.
* **Lock:** lock LUTE to mint **veLUTE**, the protocol's vote-escrow token.
* **Vote:** each epoch, direct emissions to pools and collect their trading fees + bribes.
* **Manage a portfolio:** track positions and locks, and claim everything owed to you.

## Why a MetaDEX?

A normal DEX just lets you swap. A **MetaDEX** couples swapping, liquidity, emissions, and governance into a single self-reinforcing loop:

> Protocols bribe voters → veLUTE holders vote → emissions flow to those pools → LPs earn → liquidity deepens → traders get better prices → fees + bribes flow back to voters → demand to lock LUTE rises.

That's the **(3,3) flywheel**. Alandale exists to be the liquidity hub the whole chain routes through.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://alandale.gitbook.io/alandale/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
